🎮 What is Territory?
Territory is a real-time strategy game where you expand your area by
drawing trails. Similar to Paper.io and Splix.io, start from your territory, move outside to draw a trail, and
return to claim new land. The player with the most territory wins!
📋 Basic Rules
Territory Expansion:
Start inside your colored territory (green or purple). Move outside to draw a
trail. Return to your territory to claim all enclosed area as your own.
Death Conditions:
Your trail is your weakness! If an opponent touches your trail while you're
outside, you die. You also die if you touch your own trail. After death, you respawn in 2 seconds.
Winning:
Win by having more territory when time runs out (5 minutes), or achieve instant
victory by controlling 80% or more of the map!
🎮 Controls
Keyboard:
Use Arrow Keys (↑↓←→) or WASD to move. Press two keys together for diagonal
movement.
Mobile:
Touch the direction buttons on screen, or swipe in the direction you want to move.
🎯 Key Strategies
Safe Expansion:
Start with small territory claims. The longer your trail, the more vulnerable
you are. Make multiple small expansions instead of one large one.
Watch the Minimap:
Always check where your opponent is. If they're nearby, return to safety
quickly. Only expand when you have space.
Attacking:
When your opponent is outside their territory with a long trail, that's
your chance! Cut their trail to eliminate them and safely expand while they respawn.
Use the Walls:
Expand along the map edges. The wall protects one side, making your territory
easier to defend. Corners are the safest positions!

- Don't be greedy! Start with small territory claims to stay safe.
- Always watch the minimap to track your opponent's position.
- If an opponent approaches while you're outside, return immediately!
- Be careful not to cross your own trail - it's instant death.
- Stay calm even after dying. You respawn quickly and can make a comeback!
⚔️ Advanced Tactics
Timing Attack:
Wait for your opponent to extend their trail, then strike! The longer their
trail, the easier it is to cut them off.
Fake Moves:
Pretend to go one direction, then suddenly change course. This confuses
opponents and helps you escape or surprise them.
Territory Shape:
Keep your territory compact and round. Long, thin territories are hard to
defend and easy to cut through.
